Independence is the symbol of our nation. It reminds us about the renowned origin of our folk. From numerous generations of our ancestors we inherited spiritual power and peculiar Ukrainian identity, born in word, labour and sufferings. Thus, we were wise enough to make this irrevocable step.

Sovereign and independent Ukraine has always remained the life aim of our compatriots living far beyond the borders of our country. In its name they protected particles of Ukraine in themselves, spread the truth about Ukraine and their native land around the world, gave a helping hand and shared the joy of our victory. Natives of Ukraine and our Zolochiv land in their minds have always been together with us.

The land of Zolochiv has been rich in Ukrainian patriots. It gave birth to outstanding statesmen, spiritual hierarchs, diplomats, military leaders, cultural and art figures, businessmen and Maecenas.

Thus, preparing for the Pristine Springs of the Buh River International Ecological Ethno-Festival Zolochiv district of Lviv region welcomes at the festival the whole world community, Ukrainian people and Zolochiv citizens who live in Ukraine both in the region and beyond its territory, natives of Zolochiv who, on a whim of fate, spread all over the world: to transoceanic territories of USA, Canada and Australia, to Russia and European countries.
