Pristine Springs of the Buh River…
Dear guests!
Pristine Springs of the Buh River, the First International Ecological Ethno-Festival will take place in Verkhobuzh village Zolochiv district Lviv region on August 28-31, 2008.
Zolochiv land is a mixture of ancient and modern. It has been over 480 years since Zolochiv city was granted the Magdeburg right. The land of Zolochiv is a fascinating place of Ukraine, the Motherland of Markiyan Shashkevych, an outstanding Ukrainian poet and reviver of Halychyna. This is the place where the memory about Danylo Halytskyy, Bohdan Khmelnytskyy, Ivan Franko, Solomiya Krushelnytska is deeply nurtured.
Zolochiv land is the crossroads of Ukrainian and European cultures, one of the centers of national and cultural renascence ХIХ-ХХ centuries in Halychyna.
Zolochiv land is the gold of wheat, archeological, historical and art monuments and cult constructions.
Zolochiv land is the uniqueness of architecture created by the most brilliant European architects. Here belong fanes and fortifications which time and again repelled enemies.
Zolochiv land is a Zolochiv Castle museum-reserve belonging to one of the most interesting tourist routes in Halychyna – Ukrainian Golden Horseshoe.
Zolochiv land is the land that creates its own history, grows bread and raises children, cherishes native language and melodious songs.
Zolochiv land is people who defended their homeland, preserved state traditions and intense civic activity.
Zolochiv land is the pearl of Halychyna which is now being revived by our contemporaries in the name of the past and the future. This is the beginning of Ukrainian State but not the end of Ukrainian land.
You will be charmed by picturesque mountain sceneries, rich everlasting woods. And exactly this land gives the beginning to the river feeding Baltic Sea – Western Buh which springs up in Verkhobuzh village.
We cordially invite You to visit this marvelous land!
